To ensure the quality of service provided at the 2026 Capital Fall Classic, Richmond United has appointed 288 Travel as our official Hotel, Lodging and Travel Partner. All participating teams are required to book their hotel reservations through 288 Travel to secure their spot in the 2026 Capital Fall Classic. Any teams that do not comply will be at risk of forfeiting their acceptance.
Local Richmond teams or teams “commuting” to Richmond for the weekend do not have to stay in hotels but must contact both 288 Travel and the Tournament Director requesting to do so. “Commuting” Teams are defined as a 75-mile distance between the club’s mailing address and the Team’s scheduled field complex.

Teams Attending the Recreational Weekend:
Stay-to-Play requirements do not apply for teams attending the Recreational Weekend of the Capital Fall Classic. However, if your team requests help with local lodging, please visit 288 Travel’s link below.

By using 288 Travel as our booking service, Richmond United and the Capital Fall Classic can offer our “Act of God” Clause. Should the event be canceled prior to 6:00 PM day of arrival for reasons beyond the Organizer’s control, all unoccupied reservations covered under our “Act of God” will be released at no charge: (1) If event is cancelled prior to 6:00 PM day of check-in, no penalty will be assessed; (2) If event is cancelled AFTER 6:00 PM day of check-in, all reservations are subject to a fee of one night’s room rate plus tax; (3) For occupied rooms, a check-out of 11:00 AM the following day is required to avoid further charges.
